Wedding (full day)

Your wedding day isn’t a production, and I don’t want to treat it like one.

I photograph weddings as they unfold naturally. No endless posing, forced smiles or pulling you away from your guests for hours. Instead, I’m there in the background, watching, anticipating and capturing the story as it happens.

There’ll still be time for a few beautiful portraits if you want them, but the majority of your photographs will be honest, unforced moments that bring you straight back to how the day actually felt.

From getting ready to the dance floor, I’ll be there for the big moments, and the ones you probably didn’t even notice.

Couples

You don’t need to know how to pose.

Couple shoots are relaxed, informal and built around spending time together rather than performing for the camera. We’ll walk, talk, explore, laugh and do whatever feels natural to you.

I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but I’m much more interested in capturing the way you actually are together than creating a collection of perfect poses.

Think of it less as a photoshoot and more as an excuse to spend a couple of hours together, with some really good photographs at the end.

Family

Family life is messy, loud, funny and constantly changing. That’s exactly what I want to photograph.

Rather than lining everyone up and asking them to smile, I’ll photograph your family as they really are playing, cuddling, running around, telling stories, being silly and occasionally completely ignoring me.

Whether it’s a few hours at home, a walk in the woods or a day doing something you all enjoy, I’ll follow along and document it as it happens.

Because years from now, you probably won’t care that everyone was looking at the camera.

You’ll care that they were them.

My Process

1.Fill out the form

Tell me a little about you, what you’re planning and what you’re looking for. It doesn’t need to be an essay, just enough for me to get a feel for you and your plans.

Once you’ve sent it over, I’ll get back to you with all the information you need and we can take it from there.

2.Call or Meet up

This bit is important to me.

Before you book anything, let’s have a chat. We can jump on a call, grab a coffee or meet up for a drink, whatever feels easiest.

You can ask me anything, tell me your plans, and get a feel for who I am. I want you to feel completely comfortable having me around, because I’ll be there for some pretty important moments.

3.Picture time

This is where you can forget about the camera.

Whether it’s your wedding day, a couple shoot or a family session, I’ll be there to observe, anticipate and photograph things as they naturally happen.

I won’t spend the day barking instructions or constantly asking you to look at the camera. I’ll give you a little direction when it’s useful, but mostly I’ll let you get on with being yourselves.

You enjoy the moment. I’ll worry about catching it.

4.Delivering photos

Once the day is over, the real work begins.

I’ll carefully go through everything, selecting and editing the photographs that tell your story properly, the big moments, the tiny details, the people, the chaos and everything in between.

Your finished photographs will be delivered through a beautiful online gallery, ready for you to relive, download, share and print.

And hopefully, when you look through them, it won’t just remind you what happened.

It’ll remind you how it felt.
